Sensitive Seasons of Development

A Time for Everything Ecclesiastes 3: 1-10

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest.

A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up.

A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.

A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away.

A time to search and a time to quit searching. A time to keep and a time to throw away.

A time to tear and a time to mend. A time to be quiet and a time to speak.

A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.

What do people really get for all their hard work?

I have seen the burden God has placed on us all.

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

The writer of this passage may seem to have an attitude of discouragement, and rightly so, because what do we get for our hard work? Yet, the author ends up saying everything is beautiful in its own time. God has planted in our heart.

This got me wondering about what has been planted and even more than that, was it God who planted or has someone else planted. Either way its time to look at our story, take it at face value, and ask God to help correct what has been scattered or torn.

While we may have been exposed to disruptions in our endocrine system during our fetal development or childhood that have had some long-lasting health effects, we can make a change starting today to lift that burden.

Those early-life exposures don't have to define who we are today, in fact science has shown we can rewire our brain in order to change the neural pathways (communication of the nervous system). I'm not an expert on all of that so a simple google search will help you learn more. What I do know is that it's doable. The change you begin making in your thoughts can and will allow your body will follow.

For instance, take into consideration the mom who just gave birth. The baby exited the womb, bursting into this world making room in the mothers body to go back to its pre-pregnancy condition. This exiting gives room for new change for all the things in the body, mind, and spirit for both mom and baby to grow and develop. This season offers so much to both baby and mom to create life giving pathways in the brain.

Often times in order to create new pathways one must be open to excavating false truths that have been planted over the years. Seeds of deception and negativity, lies believed, and darkness, need to be uprooted in order to let the light come in to shine, revealing understanding and wisdom necessary for healthy growth. We can change the exposure of the air we breathe, the food we eat, both physically and spiritually, and the water we drink. We can change the exposure to the toxins around us that enter in creating abnormality or disease.

When I realized this many years ago I called on some helpers to help me by joining me in the trenches, getting dirty, up rooting what need uprooted and basically started fertilizing the new seeds of truth and wellness.

One of my favorite helpers is my trusty bottle of Frankincense. You see, there's a reason it was given to Jesus. Frankincense is all about life because it is life giving. When I open that bottle up and take in the fragrance, it heads straight to that pathways in my brain connecting me to a new pathway of healing, supported and protected, aligning with my Father in heaven. It connects me to what He originally designed me to be. I use it all the time because I want the lifeless seeds to be excavated and the life He has for me to grow.

I encourage you to begin excavating the seeds that need to go and plant seeds of life by clicking here to pick up you bottle of Frankincense today. After all, what do you have to lose but all that is holding you back from truly living because God has made everything beautiful for its own time, and your time is now.
