Transforming Your Spice Cabinet with Essential Oils
Did you know you can substitute most dry spices and herbs with essential oils? Compared to your ordinary dry herb collection, essential oils are far more potent and flavorful. With just one drop of essential oil added to your favorite recipe, you’ll experience a burst of fresh flavor with unique health benefits.
Creating Your Favorite Flavors with Essential Oils
I love Gingersnaps and with this Orange Clove Icing, I love them even more! They are flavored with the same essential oils used to make All-Natural Chai Tea and I think they pair nicely with our Chai Tea recipe and a warm blanket anytime it's chilly out. Don't you?!
Makes 4 dozen cookies
• 3⁄4 cup shortening
• 1 cup brown sugar • 1 egg
• 1⁄4 cup molasses
• 1 drop dōTERRA cinnamon essential oil
• In a small pot, heat milk and honey together. If you would like to serve it as an iced chai, only heat 1/2 cup milk with the honey to melt it together, then add it to the rest of the cold milk (you can serve it over ice if you'd like).
